Dr. Adam Massoud at Greenwich Wellness is hosting a free 30 minute Facebook live event on Tuesday, November 19 at 12:30p to introduce a 21-Day Purification Program designed by Standard Process. The presentation will focus on purifying, nourishing and maintaining a healthy body and weight using nutrition and patented supplements designed by Standard Process (standardprocess.com) to help the body release harmful toxins. Dr. Massoud will also talk about integrating chiropractic care, acupuncture, cold laser, and massage therapy into a purification program for optimal results.
Dr. Massoud partnered with Standard Process in 2005 which was introduced by Dr. Royal Lee in 1929. Dedicated to the field of nutritional supplements and the whole food philosophy, Dr. Lee’s goal was to provide nutrients as they are found in nature—in a whole food state where he believed their natural potency and efficacy would be realized. According to Standard Process, There are approximately 80,000 chemicals registered for use in the U.S. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reports that hundreds of these chemicals are present in our bodies. Some research shows that certain chemicals may affect our immune, endocrine, nervous and reproductive systems.
“Too many toxins in our body over a long period of time creates chronic inflammation and leads to disease. My goal is to end the ‘sick care’ model by helping patients become better informed and more intentional. This program allows the body to function the way nature intended which is the foundation of Greenwich Wellness. This unique purification program is designed to purify, nourish, and help patients maintain healthy body weight by eating whole foods, exercising, and taking supplements made with whole food,” said Dr. Massoud. He continued, “The patented supplements are specially formulated to support the body’s ability to remove naturally occurring toxins by stimulating specific detoxification organs in the body—the liver, kidneys, and intestines. This promotes a state that allows for toxin release”.
Dr. Massoud received his degree as Doctor of Chiropractic from New York Chiropractic College in 2005 and founded Greenwich Wellness in 2007. He has completed post-graduate study in acupuncture and is licensed by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners as an affiliate of the American Chiropractic Association and Connecticut State Chiropractic Associations. In 2010, Dr. Massoud was named one of America’s Top Chiropractors by the Consumer’s Research Council of America.
Dr. Massoud suggests preparing the body for this type of program by drinking half your body weight in ounces of filtered water, adding organic green vegetables to the diet, exercise for 30 minutes a day and refrain from consuming or using alcohol, caffeine, tobacco or other stimulants. He urges patients to start becoming more proactive about health care as the holiday’s approach due to increased stress and toxic overload.
“Natural therapies like chiropractic care, acupuncture and massage are great ways to manage peak toxin overload during the holidays and maintain health throughout the winter months. I want to challenge the community to start 2020 feeling good and not wait until January to become more intentional. For the best results, it is important to say on track long term so my job is not only starting patients on this program but working closely with them over time to achieve success”. Dr. Massoud will award one patient that completes the program and demonstrates the most progress with free services at Greenwich Wellness.
