Scott Parker says returning Fulham fans will be ‘vitally important’ in relegation battle
Scott Parker says the return of supporters will be “vitally important” to Fulham’s relegation battle following yesterday’s impressive draw with Liverpool. The Cottagers were unlucky not to beat the champions, who salvaged a point through Mohamed Salah’s late penalty after Bobby Decordova-Reid had given Fulham a first-half lead. Around 2,000 supporters returned to Craven Cottage for the first time since March and were in impressive voice as Fulham were denied a victory by returning Reds goalkeeper Alisson, and saw an early shout for a penalty rejected for Fabinho’s challenge on Ivan Cavaleiro.
