Carbon County officials said they have been in contact with various hospitals, organizations and municipalities throughout the pandemic.
On Thursday, Commissioner Chris Lukasevich said that every Tuesday, the commissioners host a focus group with St. Luke’s, Lehigh Valley Health Network, various municipalities and human services organizations and have now invited the school districts to participate in these focus groups.
“We recognize how impactful school district decisions are on the community so we are bringing them into the conversation,” Lukasevich said, adding that Panther Valley and Jim Thorpe have accepted the invitation already.
