The Daily Mountain Eagle is planning to hold focus group discussions with readers to allow local residents to give their input into the future of the both the newspaper’s print and digital content.
Discussions will take place in July with a focus put on content, reader tendencies, advertising and more. Present during the discussion will be the Daily Mountain Eagle Publisher James Phillips, Advertising Director Jake Aaron and New Media Coordinator Jeffery Winborne. Other staff members will also be in attendance depending on the type of group.
Daily Mountain Eagle officials would like each group to consist of at least 10 people. Groups will be separated into advertisers, subscribers and online followers.
The discussion is tentatively planned to take place at the Daily Mountain Eagle office in Jasper, where social distancing guidelines will be strictly followed. An alternative plan could see a digital meeting using online platforms.
If you are interested in participating in the focus groups, please send an e-mail with your name, business (if applicable) city of residence or nearest city and phone number to [email protected].
