May 22, 2020 (Alexandria, VA) — The International Sleep Products Association (ISPA) announced today that it has cancelled ISPA EXPO 2020, which had been rescheduled for August 26-28 in New Orleans, LA. Continued uncertainties caused by COVID-19, including travel restrictions and economic impacts across the industry, made it impossible for ISPA to proceed with this event as planned.

“ISPA staff and the Association’s Executive Committee made the difficult but prudent decision to cancel ISPA EXPO 2020,” ISPA President, Ryan Trainer said. “Despite our efforts, it became clear that it was not feasible or financially viable to host an event that delivers value while adequately protecting the health and safety of our attendees, exhibitors, staff and the local community. ISPA recognizes the importance of EXPO to the industry and looks forward to the opportunity to bring the sleep products community together at a more appropriate time in the future, as the Association has done for more than a century. We thank the City of New Orleans for all their efforts on our behalf.”
