Léger and Berger are New ESOMAR Canadian Reps

Industry body ESOMAR has appointed Leger CEO Jean-Marc Léger and Maru/Blue MD Rob Berger as its new Canadian representatives.

Jean-Marc Léger and Rob BergerESOMAR has more than 5,000 individual members and over 500 corporate members in 130 countries, representing a network of over 40,000 professionals. Léger is an economist, the founder of Canadian-owned market research and polling firm Leger, and principal founder of the WIN Network (Worldwide Independent Network of Market Research. Berger leads Maru/Blue’s online sample and data services business globally, and has more than 22 years’ MR industry experience, having previously worked at Maru/Matchbox, Vision Critical and Ipsos.

Both are Board members of ESOMAR’s partner association CRIC (Canadian Research Insights Council). ESOMAR General Director Finn Raben comments: ‘These appointments demonstrate our intention to increase the support we can offer our Canadian and North American members and partners and build bridges to our many other member communities across the world’.

The pair will work closely with ESOMAR US representative Reg Baker on the annual ESOMAR Congress, which is set to be held in Toronto in September.
