Community Focus Group
Chagrin Falls Schools will be hosting a community focus group on April 14 at 6 p.m. in the Black Box Theater located on the 7-12 campus, 400 E. The administration and board of education invites community members to participate in the important process. Resident feedback is essential in guiding the direction of this plan.

CFIS Students Create Board Games Using Makerspace
Katherine Owen’s language arts classes at Chagrin Falls Intermediate School used the Makerspace in the Innovation Center to create board games. Students worked with their literature circle groups to create games that connected to novels they read as a part of the “Embracing Heritage” unit. Their creativity and collaboration was showcased on “game day” when they played their games. Several parents from each class joined the fun, as well.
Chagrin Cares Family First Night
On March 2, Chagrin Falls Schools held its spring “Chagrin Cares Family First Night.” There was no homework assigned, no club meetings and no athletic practices or games held after 5 p.m. Students and staff left school at the dismissal bell and were encouraged to only focus on connecting with their families.
Special thanks to Cowboy, Yours Truly, Burntwood Tavern, Master Pizza, Community Education and Chagrin Valley Chamber of Commerce for partnering with the district on this special night.
