Finn Raben is New ESOMAR Director General

In Amsterdam, global MR organisation ESOMAR has appointed market research veteran Finn Raben as its new Director General.
Raben joins from Synovate, where as CEO of Southern Europe, he was responsible for integrating the many companies the firm acquired in the region. He began his career at Millward Brown IMS in Dublin, and then moved to AC Nielsen and TNS, where as Global Director of Planning and Coordination for Key Accounts he initiated the Global Accounts programme.
Raben, who studied in the Netherlands and Ireland, has post-graduate degrees in Business Administration & Marketing Management, and speaks four languages fluently.
ESOMAR President Gunilla Broadbent said of the appointment: ‘Finn has a wealth of experience in research, managing global client relationships and running businesses.
