Hudson hired as HRCU’s VP of Digital Strategy & eServices
ROCHESTER — Holy Rosary Credit Union welcomed Tyler Hudson as vice president of Digital Strategy & eServices.
Hudson will direct and guide the digital strategy across the entire organization to ensure consistency of the member experience across all channels. With a new digital banking platform being introduced in late May, the recent addition of a network of Interactive Teller Machines (ITMs), member support and operations that now heavily rely on the digital experience, it is critical to have the experience and knowledge in place to stay ahead in the quickly changing and evolving digital world.
Hudson comes to HRCU with 17 years of experience in credit unions, financial technology, operations, process improvement and digital platform implementation. Most recently, he served as assistant vice president of development at Synergent, a FinTech-focused service bureau that provides access to state-of-the-art core processing solutions, payments, programming and marketing services. In that role, Hudson led a team of business analysts and programmers in software development, core data conversions, and professional services. Prior to his time with Synergent, he got his start in the credit union world at San Diego County Credit Union and Symitar, a core data processor leader.
Hudson lives in Springvale, Maine, with his wife Erica and their three children.

Habig named to Forbes’ best wealth advisors list

Newburyport Bank hires Brodeur as VP, commercial lending
NEWBURYPORT, Mass. — Lisa Brodeur, formerly vice president of commercial lending at First Ipswich Bank, a subsidiary of Brookline Bancorp, has joined Newburyport Bank as vice president, commercial lending.
Her responsibilities will include assisting borrowers that need financing for the acquisition, development, or construction of properties located throughout the North Shore and Metro Boston up to Portland, Maine.
Brodeur holds a bachelor of science in Special Education, and a master’s degree in special education administration, as well as coursework in the appraisal field, and multiple courses in credit risk management and underwriting directly related to commercial lending. She lives in Newburyport.

Jewett Construction recognizes safety performance
RAYMOND — Jewett Construction announced the presentation of the Jewett Construction Safety Excellence Award to Superintendent Randy Martin.
The Safety Excellence Award is presented to employees that follow good safety behaviors, drive Jewett’s safety standards on project sites, and go above and beyond to ensure that Jewett is the safest contractor in the region.
Martin has a proven track record of job site safety. All subcontractors and vendors wear all required PPE, and Martin reviews high-risk safety areas with all trades high-risk work starting. He wants each and every worker safely to go home safely. He is currently on Jewett Construction’s Berlin City Lexus project in Portland, Maine.

Jewett promotes Howland to director of marketing
RAYMOND — Jewett Construction announce the promotion of Kat Howland to director of marketing.
Prior to her promotion, Howland, who started at Jewett Construction in October 2018, held the title of marketing manager.
As director of marketing, Howland is responsible for the development and execution of Jewett Construction’s strategic marketing plan. She leads the development and implementation of brand strategy as well as manages Jewett’s social media presence where she improves social media reputation and recognition.
Howland works closely with the company’s sales team; enabling them to meet their objectives by providing them with appropriate tools, materials and presentations.
