Paradise Companies held its first Shuttling of the Santas fundraiser Dec. 21. The event was held to raise funds for The Prune Belly Syndrome and to collect coats for the Oak Orchard Boys & Girls Club.
The event took place at two of Paradise Company’s locations. The event started at Seaside Fish House. Cascading Carlos performed his fire juggling with music by Captain Mike. At the Paradise Pub, ugly Christmas sweaters and Santa outfits competed for prizes as The Victoria Watts Band provided music. Paradise Company’s buses shuttled people between the two establishments in Long Neck.
Paradise Companies initiated the fundraising for Prune Belly Syndrome because one of their employees’ children had this rare disease. For more information on Prune Belly Syndrome go to https://rarediseases.info.nih.gov/diseases/7479/prune-belly-syndrome.
