Job Description:
Our client in McLean, VA is looking for an Art Director to join their team.
This assignment is onsite, 40 hours/week for at least 12 months, with potential to extend or convert to full time.
The ideal Art Director has experience developing and executing creative campaigns across digital and print across emails, banner ads, direct mail, etc.
This Art Director has a grasp for the conceptual (campaign big ideas), exploratory work (competitive research, brand landscape research, mood boards, look & feel), has a credible presence during presentations and is able to speak to their work with excitement, clarity, and passion.
This role is 80% digital and 20% print.
Qualifications:
– 5+ years experience designing for print, digital and social
– 5+ years of experience in UX/UI or wireframing
– 2+ years of experiencing working with Sketch
– Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud
– An impeccable eye for design, compelling imagery and composition
– Great communicator; Comfortable presenting work
– Can handle multiple projects at once and meet aggressive deadlines
