Former Rangers midfielder Salim Kerkar has donned an old Ibrox training top and taken to Twitter this week as he announces that he’s “always a bear”.
The Algerian attacking midfielder is still kicking a ball with Kuwaiti Division One side Burgan SC and donned the classic top as he reminisced about Ibrox nights of yore.

The attacking midfielder’s goals would come in a 4-0 January 2012 Scottish Cup win over Arbroath before he added another in 4-1 SPL win over Dunfermline a month later.
The Algerian would then leave Ibrox after the events of 2012 and would eventually join Charlton Athletic in the English lower leagues.
Kerkar would spend a season at the Valley before eventually joining Bulgarian side Beroe in 2014 and going on to play for fellow Bulgarian outfit Vereya two years later.
Now plying his trade in Kuwait things didn’t work out as planned for Kerkar following his stint in Scotland but it’s clear the Famous Glasgow Rangers still hold a place in his heart.
