CASPER, Wyo. — The Natrona County School District have selected Computer Professional Unlimited to carry our a network infrastructure project.
The NCSD Board of Trustees awarded a $1,533,871 bid to the company to carry out the project during their Monday, Oct. 12 work session.
Funding for the project comes from federal Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act) dollars allocated to the school district by Wyoming Governor Mark Gordon’s Office.

Gordon allocated about $51.5 million CARES funds to support K-12 school operations in Wyoming.
“Those funds will support the reopening of schools and include $42.5 million for technology to support distance learning, $7.3 million for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and $1.7 million to bolster food security programs,” Gordon’s office says.
The NCSD network infrastructure project is not described in detail by the school district in a memo from Superintendent Mike Jennings, but the memo explains that the name of the bid is “Aruba Network Infrastructure Bid.”
Aruba Networks is a wireless networking subsidiary of Hewlett Packard.
NCSD says that bid packets for the project were sent to the following companies:
- CDW
- Computer Professionals Unlimited
- PC Connection
- SHI International Corp

- Clean AND disinfect frequently touched surfaces daily. This includes tables, doorknobs, light switches, countertops, handles, desks, phones, keyboards, toilets, faucets, and sinks.
