Buildkite, a Melbourne, Australia-based provider of a platform to test and deploy software at any scale, closed a $28m funding.
The round was led by OpenView, bringing its valuation to over $200 million AUD.
The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its business reach.
Founded in 2013 and led by Lachlan Donald, CEO, Keith Pitt, CTO, and Tim Lucas, chief product officer, Buildkite provides a platform to test and deploy software at any scale. The company’s continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) platform supports over 1,000 customers, 30,000 engineers and lets some of the largest companies run fast, secure and scalable pipelines on their own infrastructure.
Companies like Shopify, Pinterest, Wayfair and more currently use Buildkite.
