On Monday, July 27 and Wednesday, July 29, the focus group will meet to review and discuss collected submissions as well as consider possible name recommendations to send to the superintendent. The submission page for school names will close at noon on Aug. 3. The focus groups will also meet again on this date and provide further input to the executive director of communications and review final submissions. The executive director will submit focus group comments and the list of possible names to the superintendent on Tuesday, Aug. 4. If needed, the focus group will meet once more on Wednesday, Aug. 5. The Board of Trustees will select the new names at the board workshop on Thursday, Aug. 6 as well as discuss phase-in logistics and timelines.
