PROVINCETOWN — A new town initiative to create the first Provincetown Parks Plan is underway, according to a release from the town’s health department. Participants in focus groups are sought, lasting from Sept. 24 until Oct. 7.

The online focus groups are for families on Thursday, Sept. 24 at 7:30 p.m.; all community members on Thursday, Oct. 1 at 6 p.m.; and teens on Monday, Oct. 5 at 7:30 p.m. An in-person focus group of personal trainers, group class instructors and outdoor athletes will meet Friday, Oct. 2 at 5 p.m. at Motta Field for a 90-minute program. Masks are required.
Additionally, the town’s planning team for the parks initiative will host a survey for skateboarders and a survey for teens. Links for both surveys will be posted on the town recreation department’s webpage and Facebook page from Sept. 30 to Oct. 7.
