Investment bank Jefferies’ local outpost has brought two new operatives on board.

Street Talk understands the firm has picked up ex-Deutsche Bank operative Michelle Malouf and former Macquarie resources analyst Mitch Ryan, to join its local team.
Malouf will join Jefferies Sydney sales desk and comes across after a decade working at Deutsche in both London and Hong Kong, prior to that she worked with Bank of America out of Sydney.
Meanwhile, Ryan comes on board as a resources analyst. He has spent the last six years with NovaPort Capital and the four years before that in equity research at Macquarie.
It is understood Malouf started in her new role on Thursday, while Ryan wouldn’t get up and running until October 12.
